tulsaworld.com: Creek Nation committee votes to reinstate free press act

Citing a vocal response from tribal citizens, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation is one step closer to bringing back its free press act. The Business, Finance and Justice Committee of the tribe’s Legislature voted 3-2 Thursday night to approve NCA 18-184, which would reinstate Mvskoke Media as an independent agency.
